At a hotel or resort, you share everything; the pool, the staff, the experience. At most vacation rentals, you’re largely on your own. Gecko is neither. We combine the privacy and space of a private villa with the full-service infrastructure of a world-class resort, and then we make it personal.
Gecko Vacation Rentals was founded on a belief that Belize deserved better than cookie-cutter tourism. That the unspoiled beauty of Placencia, its turquoise water, its quiet shores, its extraordinary reef, should be paired with an equally extraordinary level of care. And that the people behind a vacation matter just as much as the place itself.
Today, our portfolio spans over 30 luxury residences, 5 exclusive private islands (four of them all-inclusive), plus a one-of-a-kind jungle retreat. Each property is exceptional. Each one is backed by a full-time team of concierges, housekeepers, chefs, groundskeepers, maintenance professionals, and spa therapists… all of them focused entirely on you.
