On your boat ride down the Monkey River, watch for the wildlife of Belize – birds, iguanas, snakes, crocodiles and the stars of the tour – howler monkeys. Jump in for a swim in the river…if you dare! Then return to Monkey River Village to enjoy a native lunch. Top off the trip with a stop for manatee watching on the way back to Placencia. See how many you can spot before they go back under!

The History – and Mystery – of The Mayans. A scenic 100-mile drive through the hills of Belize leads to a visit to El Castillo, one of the largest Maya temples in Belize. Spend some time exploring the ancient marketplace and temple.  Climb to the top of El Castillo and enjoy spectacular panoramic views of Belize and Guatemala. When you’ve explored the site, head out for lunch and then cool off with an adventure of cave tubing through limestone archways in centuries-old caves.

When we arrive at the trail, you’ll hike through the lush jungle for about 45 minutes before arriving at the caves. Finally, you’ll gear up before entering the caves where you’ll spend the next three hours hiking, swimming, and exploring this sacred cave formation. Snorkeling & Diving

Dive Pompion Caye

We gear up at the dive shop prior to departure. If you are in a  location where we will need to pick up you by boat, we will already have your gear on the boat (which means we will need all your gear size information upon booking tour). Once we will reach the dive site you will get a detailed briefing of the dive site and safety procedures. Afterwards we will take our time to get ready for the first dive adventure. During your dives your dive master will point different corals and creatures out to you. Lunch will be on the beautiful Caye. Enjoy a fantastic day under water and encounter Belize marine life.

Snorkeling & Leisure Fishing With An Island Stop

On the way to the island, enjoy trolling and bottom fishing from the boat. After catching some fish, you’ll head to the island to learn about the island’s history, rules, and the surrounding waters. After a traditional Belizean lunch, you will have time to explore and enjoy the island. Then, get ready for an hour of snorkeling to see the beautiful coral gardens! Return to the island for a snack before heading back to Placencia.
