Can you share a memorable experience you’ve had while working at Gecko Vacations?

So many beautiful moments its hard to just share just one  🙂

From the moment I was placed under training to currently taking care of each of our reservations inquiry I knew I was at the right place. 

I was given hands on training and provided with all the tools I needed to become a part of something big- The Gecko Difference!  From there on it’s all been about making sure our guests are taken care of from the moment the booking process starts to the time they leave our property. 

My time with each member of the Gecko Team has been special, I’m filled with pride and joy when as a reservationist I get to plan not just a vacation but moments that will forever stay in my guests memories from trips that consists of friends who haven’t seen each other in years, to a husband planning to propose to his future wife, to a multi generational family finding time in their busy schedule to escape to our private island to make family lifetime memories- I’ve enjoyed being a part of this journey to see it come to reality.

How do you like to spend your time when you’re not working?

When I’m not working I enjoy making new memories with my kids by showing them everything about Belize, or simply cuddling with them on a relaxed afternoon.

What’s one travel tip you always give to friends visiting Belize?

Bring a good camera to capture all the beautiful moments and places 🙂

What do you love/enjoy most about Placencia?

The tropical vibes, reggae music and the cold seamoss smoothies from Wide Awakenings on a hot day.
