Welcome to Villa Jammin' Gecko, an exquisite oceanfront estate nestled among tropical trees and vibrant gardens in the heart of Maya Beach, Placencia. Villa Jammin’ Gecko is a 5-bedroom, 7-bathroom custom-built vacation home occupying a stretch of sandy shore along the calm Caribbean Sea.

Leave all your cares behind because from the moment you enter the gates of this meticulously manicured property you will be engulfed in an aura of tranquility and luxury. Entering the villa, you will step into a spacious foyer with soaring ceilings and an eye-catching staircase. Tastefully decorated with pieces of local art and custom-built Belizean hardwood furniture, this home strikes the right balance between homey and haute.
Proceeding from the foyer you’ll find the first three private bedrooms located on the ground level. Each of the large bedrooms are well furnished with custom local furniture, high quality linens, a flat screen TV and accompanied by its own en-suite bathroom, ensuring the utmost privacy and comfort for each guest. The first floor also boasts a large game room overlooking the ocean, complete with a wet bar, pool table and large flat screen TV. This area serves as the perfect space for entertainment as a sliding glass door seamlessly connects you to the large, covered patio, your private pool, and a cozy thatched palapa.
Inspired by the easy and breezy outdoor living habits of the tropics, the palapa is designed to be your open-air common area. Equipped with comfortable seating and hammocks, it is the ideal spot to relax and unwind. Stretch out on a lounge chair and bask on the sundeck or splash into the pool for a game of volleyball. The beach is your backyard! Enjoy the peace and solitude of your private oasis which will seem to stretch across the tepid and tranquil water all the way to the horizon.
Back indoors, ascend the grand spiral staircase to the second floor, where you’ll enter the heart of the villa - a large open kitchen, dining and living area with a generous covered patio overlooking the pool and beach. This amazingly well-appointed space is where your group will gather most of the time when you’re not outdoors. Natural light fills this space through clear glass windows, and the decor is a harmonious blend of modern beach elegance and local charm. The living area is furnished with comfortable, contemporary sofas and chairs centered around a stylish, hand carved coffee table made from local Belizean wood. The dining area features a beautiful hand-carved wood table with seating for ten, where you can enjoy gourmet meals made by your own private chef.
Adjacent to the dining area, you’ll find the large, fully equipped, gourmet kitchen with high-end appliances, granite countertops, and an island breakfast bar. Just off the dining area is yet another open-air patio and outdoor dining area. The patio houses a stainless-steel gas grill and boasts amazing views of the Maya Mountains and magical sunsets.
Also on this level is a sizeable junior suite, with its own private covered patio overlooking the pool and ocean. The room is furnished with local handmade furniture and décor, high-quality linens and flat screen TV. With the attached ensuite bath, this suite is perfect for a couple wanting more privacy.
Ascend to the top floor, where you’ll discover the grand primary suite. Placencia, located in Southern Belize, is the second most popular tourist destination in the country. It is situated on a 16-mile-long peninsula that is surrounded by a lagoon on one side and the Caribbean Sea on the other. It is much smaller, less congested and more laid back than Ambergris Caye/San Pedro. Being inland, Placencia provides easy access to many activities on the mainland like Mayan Ruins, waterfalls, ziplining and cave tubing to name a few. Placencia offers numerous restaurants, small shops, bars and the famous Placencia Sidewalk. It is the perfect place for an amazing Caribbean vacation!

All international flights into and out of Belize are serviced through the Philip S.W. Goldson International Airport (BZE), located northwest of Belize City. Your concierge will assist with arranging domestic transportation from BZE to Placencia. There are two options:
- Travel by plane on a local commuter flight from the airport (BZE) to the Placencia Airstrip (PLJ). Flight time is approximately 30 minutes. Once in Placencia, our staff will pick you up and take you to the villa. Our concierge will work with you to book the local flights as soon as you have your international flights ready.
- Travel by private shuttle van from BZE, where the driver will meet you outside of baggage claim. The drive time is approximately 2 hours. You’ll be taken directly to the villa. Our concierge will work with you to book the shuttle van as soon as you have your international flights ready.

Concierge service is included with your rental to assist with arranging activities for your group including spa services, excursions and various types of entertainment right at the villa. Our concierge will assist in planning and booking your activities to enable you to get the most out of your trip.

Payment Policies

A partial payment in the amount of 30% of the grand total is due no later than 1 day(s) after confirmation of intention to book or upon booking if that date has already passed. Remaining payment is due no later than 45 days prior to arrival. Upon check-in a damage deposit of $700 will be held on your card until after check-out. If the booking is made after [or within 3 days of when] the second payment would be due, then this payment will be combined and due together with the first payment.
Guest agrees that all additional services purchased through our concierge are non-refundable and will be charged to the card on file upon the booking of those services.


All amounts paid under the lease (less a non-refundable $150 booking fee) shall be refunded when Guest elects to cancel the lease at least 60 days prior to the arrival date contained in this lease. If the lease is canceled at any point after 60 days from the arrival date contained in this lease, all payments made under the lease shall be non-refundable and retained by Lessor.

Failure to make lease payments when due shall result in the Guest being in default of this lease agreement and the lease shall be deemed cancelled by Lessor if any payment due is not paid within 48 hours of the date such payment was due.

The property manager strongly recommends purchasing travel insurance, to protect the guests in the event of unforeseen circumstances such as; interruption of travel due to weather, personal emergency or illness.

Payment Methods



No Pets permitted unless specifically approved in advance by Lessor and payment of additional security deposit to Lessor as agreed to in advance.
Absolutely no smoking permitted inside home. Cigarette butts, cans, bottles, and other trash shall be properly disposed of and not left in yard, or beach area.
Lock golf cart with steering wheel lock when not in use as all club car keys are same.
Return cell phone and charger to caretaker at check out.
Wear lifejackets provided when using kayaks, wash with fresh water and put up when done.
Do not commit or allow any unlawful, improper, or offensive use of the Property.
Household items (Bluetooth speaker, towels, utensils, games, etc.) are not to be removed from the Property.
Please wash off sand from feet in wash out areas by sidewalk before entering home, POOL, or patio.
Please turn off a/c and all lights when not in use.
Upon departure, return keys to caretaker. Lost keys will cost $45.00 each.
All weddings on a Gecko Property are subject to additional charge and must be booked in advance.
Please treat our home as if was yours and have fun.
