Sunset Gecko Condos are oceanfront 2-bedroom 2-bath units, located in a high end 4 unit complex on Sunset Point Drive in Placencia Village. Sunset Point is a prime quiet location in the Village offering ocean front on one side and the Placencia canal on the other side.

All units are concrete construction with high-end finish out, furniture, stainless steel kitchen appliances, washer and dryer and all the amenities you'll need for an amazing beach vacation.

Sunset Gecko Condos are all professionally decorated with high-end furniture, original artwork, and large properly outfitted kitchen.

Spend your days enjoying the large private pool on the amazing 3rd floor rooftop deck and lounge area, while taking advantage of the amazing 360 degree views and ocean breeze.

Each of the 2 spacious bedrooms have a king bed, large private ensuite bath, private patio, its own ac unit and large flat screen smart TV. There are two chairs in the living room that each pull out into single beds that are designated for kids use only.

The condos are perfectly located in Placencia Village, close enough to walk to all the shops and restaurants in the Village, yet on a private and quiet street without the traffic and noise, typical of most other properties in the Village.

The unit has a fully stocked kitchen, washer & dryer, large flat screen smart TV's in living room and each bedroom, fully air-conditioned, cable TV & high speed internet, outdoor gas grill and covered outdoor balconies on both the sea and street sides of the unit.

The roof top living area features an infinity edge pool, custom made metal shade structures and is fully furnished with high end pool furniture, lounge areas and dining tables. It also includes an outdoor kitchen and bar overlooking the ocean. The panoramic ocean and mountain views from the roof top deck are incredible.

Also included in the rental rate are bicycles and kayaks that are located on the property for guest use. Each unit has one parking spot in the front of the complex for parking a vehicle or golf cart.

Optional add on services include chef service, spa services, and golf cart rental (cart at unit upon arrival).

Our full-time concierge will assist you in planning every detail of your trip from arranging transportation from/to the Belize City Airport, booking tours and activities, golf cart rental as well spa services and chef services at the property.

Sunset Gecko Condo is a certified Gold Standard Property by the Belize Tourism Board and managed by a highly respected company that manages numerous exclusive private islands and luxury waterfront villas in Placencia.

Located directly across the canal from Sunset Gecko Condos is a fun local swim up bar and restaurant that will provide room service when requested to the units or to the roof top deck.

Placencia is the second most popular tourist destination located in Southern Belize. It is located on a 16 mile long peninsula that is surrounded by the Placencia Lagoon on one side and the Caribbean Sea on the other. It is much smaller, less congested and more laid back than Ambergris Caye / San Pedro. Being on a peninsula and not an island, Placencia provides easy access to the Belize Rainforest and many activities on the mainland like Mayan Ruins, waterfalls, zip lining and cave tubbing to name a few. Placencia offers numerous restaurants, small shops and bars and is home to famous Placencia Sidewalk and is the perfect place for an amazing Caribbean vacation. All international flights coming into Belize land at the Belize City Airport (BZE).

Getting from BZE to the condo is easy with 3 options available. Option 1 is to take a short (approximately 30 minute ) local commuter flight from BZE to the Placencia Airstrip where you will be met by one of the Gecko Properties staff and taken directly to your condo. Our concierge will work with you to book these flights once you have your international flights booked and locked in. Option 2 is to take a van shuttle from BZE to the condo. The driver will meet you outside of baggage claim. The drive from BZE to the condo is around 2.5 hours. Our concierge will work with you to get this booked again once you have your international flights booked. Option 3 is to rent a vehicle at BZE and make the drive down to the condo yourself. There are numerous rental car agencies right across the parking lot from baggage claim including Hertz Avis and Crystal Car Rental a larger local car rental company. You would just need to go online to book and secure a vehicle prior to arrival.

BOOKING FEES & CANCELLATION POLICY A full refund minus a non-refundable booking fee of $50 per unit will be issued when Guest elects to cancel the booking at least 60 days prior to check-in date. If the booking is canceled at any point after the 60 days, all payments made will be retained.

Payment Policies

A partial payment in the amount of 30% of the grand total is due upon booking. Remaining payment is due no later than 45 days prior to arrival. Upon check-in a damage deposit of $700 will be held on your card until after check-out. If the booking is made after [or within 3 days of when] the second payment would be due, then this payment will be combined and due together with the first payment.
Guest agrees that all additional services purchased through our concierge are non-refundable and will be charged to the card on file upon the booking of those services.

CANCELLATION POLICY

All amounts paid under the lease (less a non-refundable $50 booking fee) shall be refunded when Guest elects to cancel the lease at least 60 days prior to the arrival date contained in this lease. If the lease is canceled at any point after 60 days from the arrival date contained in this lease, all payments made under the lease shall be non-refundable and retained by Lessor.

Failure to make lease payments when due shall result in the Guest being in default of this lease agreement and the lease shall be deemed cancelled by Lessor if any payment due is not paid within 48 hours of the date such payment was due.

The property manager strongly recommends purchasing travel insurance, to protect the guests in the event of unforeseen circumstances such as; interruption of travel due to weather, personal emergency or illness.

No Pets permitted unless specifically approved in advance by Lessor and payment of additional security deposit to Lessor as agreed to in advance.
Absolutely no smoking permitted inside unit. Cigarette butts, cans, bottles, and other trash shall be properly disposed of and not left in the yard, or beach area.
Wear lifejackets provided when using kayaks, wash with fresh water and put up when done.
Do not commit or allow any unlawful, improper, or offensive use of the Property.
Household items (Bluetooth speaker, towels, utensils, games, etc.) are not to be removed from the Property.
Please wash off sand from feet in wash out areas by sidewalk before entering building or unit, POOL, or patio.
Please turn off a/c and all lights when not in use.
Upon departure, return keys to caretaker. Lost keys will cost $200.00 each.
All weddings on a Gecko Property are subject to additional charge and must be booked in advance.
Please treat our home as if was yours and have fun.
