Perched on the private island of Placencia Caye, this boutique villa offers an intimate retreat, thoughtfully designed for couples, friends, and small families seeking a perfect blend of luxury and tranquility.

Step inside and be greeted by sun-drenched, open-concept interiors. Warm wood ceilings contrast beautifully with sleek, polished concrete floors, while floor-to-ceiling glass walls dissolve the boundary between the chic living space and the tropical paradise outside.

This intimate villa features three beautifully decorated bedrooms, each a haven of comfort. Wake up to the golden morning light and start your day in the most blissful way imaginable, as two of the bedrooms offer private sliding doors that open directly onto the sun-kissed pool deck.

Your private deck is the heart of Santosha Villa. Begin your mornings with a refreshing dip in the crystal-clear plunge pool, just steps from your bed. Spend your afternoons lounging in the sun, and as evening arrives, gather for an alfresco dinner under the stars at the outdoor dining table.

Just beyond your deck, a sandy beachfront awaits. Enjoy a game of cornhole, horseshoes, or bocce ball on the lawn, all while soaking in the incredible island atmosphere. Gaze out at the serene Placencia lagoon, where sailboats gently bob in the calm waters. You'll also enjoy views of the iconic Placencia pier—a lively local landmark where you can watch fishermen bring in their daily catch and kids leap joyfully into the sea.

Santosha Villa offers all the coolness of staying on a private island with all the luxuries you want like city power, city water and a boat with driver to take you back and forth to Placencia whenever you would like. Upon arrival, you will be picked up at the Placencia Pier by one of our friendly staff in the villas shuttle boat to take the very short 1 minute boat ride (all in smooth protected waters) over to Placencia Caye and the villas private dock in the Placencia Caye Marina.

**ABOUT PLACENCIA**
Placencia, located in Southern Belize, is the second most popular tourist destination in the country. It is situated on a 16-mile-long peninsula that is surrounded by a lagoon on one side and the Caribbean Sea on the other. It is much smaller, less congested and more laid back than Ambergris Caye/San Pedro. Being inland, Placencia provides easy access to many activities on the mainland like Mayan Ruins, waterfalls, ziplining and cave tubing to name a few. Placencia offers numerous restaurants, small shops, bars and the famous Placencia Sidewalk. It is the perfect place for an amazing Caribbean vacation!

**GETTING FROM THE INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT TO THE PROPERTY**
All international flights into and out of Belize are serviced through the Philip S.W. Goldson International Airport (BZE), located northwest of Belize City. Your concierge will assist with the first options to arrange domestic transportation from BZE to Placencia:
- Travel by plane on a local commuter flight from the airport (BZE) to the Placencia Airstrip (PLJ). Flight time is approximately 30 minutes. Once in Placencia, our staff will pick you up and take you to the villa. Our concierge will work with you to book the local flights as soon as you have your international flights ready.
- Travel by private shuttle van from BZE, where the driver will meet you outside of baggage claim. The drive time is approximately 2 hours. You’ll be taken directly to the villa. Our concierge will work with you to book the shuttle van as soon as you have your international flights ready.
- Option 3 is to rent a vehicle at BZE and make the drive down to the condo yourself. There are numerous rental car agencies right across the parking lot from baggage claim including Hertz Avis and Crystal Car Rental a larger local car rental company. You would just need to go online to book and secure a vehicle prior to arrival.

**THINGS TO DO**
Concierge service is included with your rental to assist with arranging activities for your group including spa services, excursions and various types of entertainment right at the villa. Our concierge will assist in planning and booking your activities to enable you to get the most out of your trip.

Payment Policies

A partial payment in the amount of 30% of the grand total is due upon booking. Remaining payment is due no later than 45 days prior to arrival. Upon check-in a damage deposit of $700 will be held on your card until after check-out. If the booking is made after [or within 3 days of when] the second payment would be due, then this payment will be combined and due together with the first payment.
Guest agrees that all additional services purchased through our concierge are non-refundable and will be charged to the card on file upon the booking of those services.

CANCELLATION POLICY

All amounts paid under the lease (less a non-refundable $50 per unit booking fee) shall be refunded when Guest elects to cancel the lease at least 60 days prior to the arrival date contained in this lease. If the lease is canceled at any point after 60 days from the arrival date contained in this lease, all payments made under the lease shall be non-refundable and retained by Lessor.

Failure to make lease payments when due shall result in the Guest being in default of this lease agreement and the lease shall be deemed cancelled by Lessor if any payment due is not paid within 48 hours of the date such payment was due.

The property manager strongly recommends purchasing travel insurance, to protect the guests in the event of unforeseen circumstances such as; interruption of travel due to weather, personal emergency or illness.

No Pets permitted unless specifically approved in advance by Lessor and payment of additional security deposit to Lessor as agreed to in advance.
Absolutely no smoking permitted inside home. Cigarette butts, cans, bottles, and other trash shall be properly disposed of and not left in yard, or beach area.
Lock golf cart with steering wheel lock when not in use as all club car keys are same.
Return cell phone and charger to caretaker at check out.
Wear lifejackets provided when using kayaks, wash with fresh water and put up when done.
Do not commit or allow any unlawful, improper, or offensive use of the Property.
Household items (Bluetooth speaker, towels, utensils, games, etc.) are not to be removed from the Property.
Please wash off sand from feet in wash out areas by sidewalk before entering home, POOL, or patio.
Please turn off a/c and all lights when not in use.
Upon departure, return keys to caretaker. Lost keys will cost $45.00 each.
MUST BE 18yrs OLD TO OPERATE GOLF CART.
All weddings on a Gecko Property are subject to additional charge and must be booked in advance.
Please treat our home as if was yours and have fun.
