Kanu Private Island Belize
Kanu guests enjoy exclusive use of the entire island. The all-inclusive rate includes all transfers to and from the Belize International Airport, all accommodations, all meals prepared by your personal chef, all local beverage, including local beer and spirits, personal concierge services, personal boat captain to take your fishing and snorkeling around the island, on-site massages, housekeeping, Internet/Wifi, unlimited use of kayaks, paddle boards, catamaran, snorkeling gear and all other sporting equipment.
Kanu’s massive thatch roofed central palapa is flanked by a large swimming pool and sun loungers. Housing a communal kitchen, bar, and large living and dining areas to bring everyone together. The soothing design palette incorporates coral stone and reclaimed wood, complemented with accent shades of the sea and sun.
The real star of Kanu is the dazzling ocean, visible at every turn. The underwater sights are equally impressive, thanks to fish-filled coral heads just offshore. A 20-minute boat ride transports visitors to the Belize Barrier Reef for an even more expansive look at the region’s famous aquatic ecosystem.
Kanu is a certified Gold Standard Property by the Belize Tourism Board and managed by a highly respected company that manages four exclusive private island and numerous luxury waterfront villas in Placencia.
Effective July 14th 2022, the Government of Belize has decided to remove all public health measures at the points of entry in Belize. Belize Travel Insurance is now optional for entry. Proof of vaccination or a negative Covid-19 test is no longer required upon arrival and for entry into Belize.

Payment Policies
A partial payment in the amount of 20% of the grand total is due no later than 2 day(s) after confirmation of intention to book or upon booking if that date has already passed. Remaining payment is due no later than 90 days prior to arrival. If the booking is made after the second payment would be due, then this payment will be combined and due together with the first payment.
A full refund (less a 3.5% credit card fee) is available if the booking is cancelled more than 90 days prior to arrival.
A 100% fee applies if the booking is cancelled within 90 days prior to the arrival date.
Please note: Travel Insurance is HIGHLY recommended for all guests.

Kanu’s rate for reserved dates is USD $25,475
This rate is inclusive for 8 Guests

Kanu can accommodate up to 10 adults and 10 children
Additional adults are $220/pp/pn
Additional children (ages 2+) are $120/pp/pn
Reservations are subject to a 15% surcharge during the holiday season
Rates are per night for exclusive use
Staff gratuity is customary and not included in Kanus rates. Industry standard is 10% of rental
rate but should be based on guest satisfaction with the service provided.
Domestic flights and speed boat transfers from Belize City to Placencia are included on arrival.
The same is included on guest departure.
One additional return trip to the mainland is included for a 7 night stay.
Meals, domestic spirits and beer and local excursions are included.
Wine/Champagne, mainland excursions, diving and deep sea fishing are available at an
additional cost.
Excessive alcohol consumption while on island may be capped at the discretion of the manager
for the safety of guests and staff.
Rates include personal chef, concierge, boat captain, 7 seater boat for excursions around the
island, massage therapist and housekeeping staff.
Boat transfers to/from the island and mainland or for more lengthy excursions can be arranged
at an additional cost. 24 hours notice is required for additional boat transfers
Guests are encouraged to purchase travel insurance to cover any loses should their trip need to
be cancelled due to unforeseen/unexpected events
International flights must arrive by 1:30pm to ensure arrival on the island before sundown.
