The Enclave is a 2 acre private island paradise, located on Placencia Caye, 100 yards from Placencia Pier and the world-famous sidewalk. With 7 individual beach chalets, your party will have room to spread out and relax on island time. The Enclave Island Retreat is designed to provide the most luxurious island lifestyle in Belize with views of the Caribbean Sea, Placencia village and the Mayan Mountains.

The Enclave is a certified Gold Standard Property by the Belize Tourism Board and managed by a highly respected company that manages four exclusive private island and numerous luxury waterfront villas in Placencia.

On this luxurious private island, there is plenty of room for a large family, a conference, wedding party, or a group of friends. Enclave Island Retreat is a luxurious 7-bedroom, 7.5 bath beachfront island with media/game room, fishing pier, and private pool. We have developed a resort-style private island home with first class amenities. Let your private chef, concierge, and housekeeper take care of everything; all you have to do is put up your feet and relax.
The 7 private beachfront bedroom suites are professionally designed, each 1000+ square foot room is adorned with bright comfy furniture from front to back, offering amazing ocean views from your own private porch. All rooms have a/c, large Flat screen smart TV’s, wifi, mini fridge, coffee bar, safe, seating area, closets, huge private bathrooms with indoor and outdoor showers. Two of the bedrooms also have outdoor garden tubs and loft bedrooms with 2 twin beds.

The Enclave Island Retreat’s two living areas make entertaining or breaking away from the group easy and comfortable. The center piece of the island is the massive open-air veranda containing over 4,400 sq. ft. of living area with soaring ceilings made from local Belizean hardwood, all overlooking a sandy white beach and large pool. The resort pool, complete with tanning ledge and large layout deck is located in the center of this amazing space. Making it the ideal place to relax or play some pool volleyball. The veranda also has a large full walk around bar ideal for making drinks while relaxing by the pool or playing a game of billiards.

The separate media/game room is a large 550 sq. ft. air-conditioned room with TV, media system, shuffleboard table, foosball table and comfortable seating. This room is designed to be very flexible and to be used for multiple functions from conferences, game room, or media room. Large kitchen with massive dining area equipped for the home cook or professional chef.

The Enclave shuttle boat is available to take you to Placencia Village which is just a short 2 minute ride in protected smooth water.

Enclave’s professional full time onsite house staff, which consist of a private chef, concierge, maid, boat captain and grounds keeper are available to ensure all details are taken care of. Your biggest chore of the day is deciding which lounge chair to occupy.

Placencia is the second most popular tourist destination located in Southern Belize. It is located on a 16 mile long peninsula that is surrounded by the Placencia Lagoon on one side and the Caribbean Sea on the other. It is much smaller, less congested and more laid back than Ambergris Caye / San Pedro. Being on a peninsula and not an island, Placencia provides easy access to the Belize Rainforest and many activities on the mainland like Mayan Ruins, waterfalls, zip lining and cave tubbing to name a few. Placencia offers numerous restaurants, small shops and bars and is home to famous Placencia Sidewalk and is the perfect place for an amazing Caribbean vacation.

All international flights coming into Belize land at the Belize City Airport (BZE). Our full time concierge will work with you to arrange transportation from BZE to the property.

Getting from BZE to The Enclave is easy with 2 options available.

Option 1 is to take a short (approximately 30 minute) local commuter flight from BZE to the Placencia Airstrip where you will be met by the island's staff that will pick you in our custom limo golf cart to take the short 1 minute ride to our marina where the boat will be waiting to take you on the short ride out to the island. Our concierge will work with you to book these flights once you have your international flights booked and locked in.

Option 2 is to take a van shuttle from BZE to the Gecko Marina where the island's staff will be waiting on you to take you in the boat to take you to the island. The driver will meet you outside of baggage claim. The drive from BZE to our marina is around 3 hours. Our concierge will work with you to get this booked again once you have your international flights booked.


BOOKING FEES & CANCELLATION POLICY
A full refund minus a non-refundable booking fee of $450, will be issued when Guest elects to cancel the booking at least 120 days prior to check-in date. If the booking is canceled at any point after the 120 days, all payments made will be retained.

Effective July 14th 2022, the Government of Belize has decided to remove all public health measures at the points of entry in Belize. Belize Travel Insurance is now optional for entry. Proof of vaccination or a negative Covid-19 test is no longer required upon arrival and for entry into Belize.

Payment Policies

A partial payment in the amount of 30% of the grand total is due upon booking. Remaining payment is due no later than 90 days prior to arrival. If the booking is made after [or within 3 days of when] the second payment would be due, then this payment will be combined and due together with the first payment.
Guest agrees that all additional services purchased through our concierge are non-refundable and will be charged to the card on file upon the booking of those services.

CANCELLATION POLICY

All amounts paid under the lease (less a non-refundable $450 booking fee) shall be refunded when Guest elects to cancel the lease at least 120 days prior to the arrival date contained in this lease. If the lease is canceled at any point after 120 days from the arrival date contained in this lease, all payments made under the lease shall be non-refundable and retained by Lessor.

Failure to make lease payments when due shall result in the Guest being in default of this lease agreement and the lease shall be deemed cancelled by Lessor if any payment due is not paid within 48 hours of the date such payment was due.

The property manager strongly recommends purchasing travel insurance, to protect the guests in the event of unforeseen circumstances such as; interruption of travel due to weather, personal emergency or illness.

Maximum adults allowed for overnight stay on the Enclave is 18 with up to 10 kids for a max total of 28.
No Pets permitted unless specifically approved in advance by Lessor and payment of additional security deposit to Lessor as agreed to in advance.
Absolutely no smoking permitted inside home. Cigarette butts, cans, bottles, and other trash shall be properly disposed of and not left in yard, or beach area.
Lock golf cart with steering wheel lock when not in use as all club car keys are same. Return cell phone and charger to caretaker at check out.
Wear lifejackets provided when using kayaks, wash with fresh water and put up when done. Please wash snorkel equipment with fresh water allow to dry and put back up.
Do not commit or allow any unlawful, improper, or offensive use of the Property.
Household items (Bluetooth speaker, towels, utensils, games, etc.) are not to be removed from the Property.
Please wash off sand from feet in wash out areas by sidewalk before entering home, POOL, or patio.
Please turn off a/c and all lights off when not in use. The AC system works VERY fast to cool off the room so turn off when leaving room. Electricity is a valuable resource in Belize.
Upon departure, return keys to caretaker. Lost keys will cost $45.00 each
MUST BE 18 YEARS OLD TO OPERATE GOLF CART and must follow the Golf Cart Rental Terms and Conditions covered in EXHIBIT A.
All weddings are subject to additional charge and must be booked in advance.
